    I would worry less about your drum samples being traced back if ever you were to sell a tune. It depends on what music you're making, but for the most part, no one is digging through electronic music (especially drum and bass) for copyright infringement. you should be more cautious of the other musical or vocal samples you rip and always make a note of them.

    agree with inteliboy on this - you're better off making your own beats by sampling things you enjoy. presets and loaded samples are so overused. if you listen to any reality show you can usually pick out a few reason preloaded samples per tune.
