i remember this spot on melrose avenue when i lived in cali.. it was Gallaxy Gallery and the spot was if i remember it correctly.. 5000 square feet of just glass pipes.. and the floor was a crazy i think it was inlay painting of some crazy acid trip.. done very well.. they sold pipes that were large in capacity for smoke and they were all hand blown triple layer.. you get the idea.. for real cheap.. i mean it wasnt cheap by any means, but for half the size of any in NYC the price was more than triple.. so i remember i got a lot of glass back then.. gave out like 32 glass babies.. and some people sold some on ebay and got good money and others shattered some of the nicer and thinner pieces..
is that spot still there.. it was near the Boy London shop.. is that even there anymore?? there was a coffee spot i used to live at a lil further down from from the pipe shop.. you could smoke mad herb there.. they had a backyard that had high walls.. i think the place might have been called the bookstore or the library or witches brew or something i fergot..
any of that ring a bell to you..??
