it seems like a taboo thing in the western world to deal with stuff as these. Mediterrenean, Islamitic and Asian ppl deal with it everyday praising their ancestors. Its more embedded in their culture.
Western culture seems not to be willing to face reality. Death is real and part of everydaylife. One moment youre sitting in the car, bored and wankering about who long this fkn trip will take you as you are already a half an hour too late and the next moment your bones get crushed between the weels of a truck thats rolling over you. Pointless?!
Anyways, for myself I keep a diary about things that happen in my life and what should happen when I'm not there anymore.
Theres nothing morbid about it, its something that will be there when i'm not here anymore.
I saw a documentary years ago where a woman stated that ppl of your family in 50 years will be as curious or even more how your life looked like. What you did everyday, stuff like that.
