I like both but have only switched to Mac last year. Windows does have a real problem of getting super slow after a few months, even after using tools like CCleaner. So far I think MacOSX's UI is a bit more responsive, but the browser (either Safari or FF) is slower. I'm not crazy about where the Command key is located on a Mac. I still like using my pinky to hit control on the PC's keyboard a lot better. I use a keyboard shortcut for everything, so being able to use my pinky helped me extend my fingers across the keyboard. On MacOSX, it's like trying to play twister with your fingers. It's also nice that I don't have to worry about viruses on a Mac.

Personally, I'd spend the extra loot and go with the Mac.

    • Safari is one of the fastest browsers on any platform, no?monospaced
    • oh, and you use your thumb for the command key (where Alt is) for those functionsmonospaced
    • no twister necessary, and I'm saying this because I use both all daymonospaced
    • Yeah, I know its a thumb on Mac but I'm saying I like the pinky (PC) better. It feels more natural to always use my index finger to click on things.fyoucher1
    • ... click on things. On a Mac, since you use your thumb, sometimes you're forced to use your pinky to clickfyoucher1
    • Oh man, I'm sorry. I have two hands and I take it for granted.monospaced
    • LOL. Yeah, forgot to mention that I only have one hand.fyoucher1
