    I like to stay at the Mirage or Treasure Island. Both are reasonably cheap, on the strip and on the tram line which gets you to all the other big hotels/casinos.

    I will be in Vegas at the end of April and am staying at the Mirage. I think my room for two was $80 / night. I got it through Expedia. I've stayed at Treasure Island a few times before for around $60/night.

    Lots of hotel deals to be had in vegas.
