OK Sup, just for the hell of it, I will take up your challenge.

Let's take a step back...have you looked at a map in the last 20 years?
The Soviet Union is what it was called when there was...a union between Russia and those other Eastern Bloc Communist states. Now they are separate countries, and so, no Soviet Union.

Actually I didn't know this, but the U.S. currently spends $52 billion/ year just to maintain our nuclear arsenal, more than our entire science budget.
