    The whole 90s thing was quite annoying and agree that it has left an indelible mark on his character but it certainly hasn't done him any harm. I'm sure he was just going along with whatever the TV people advised him at the time, I think now his company is one of the most savvy in this area and the products he's putting out are solid. I mean his food mag, his website and the iphone app, books.

    That iphone app is one of the best thought out apps on the iphone. For those who havn't used it, it has recipes split into step by step, each step displayed full screen, double tap to see a full screen photo of that step, shopping list feature (split into aisles of supermarket), general video tips etc. It's a quality app.

    At the end of the day he is showing you how to make decent food, quickly and easily without being pretentious. I don't particularly like the mockney persona but he seems pretty genuine around people and I can appreciate he is doing a good job. He's like a younger male Delia.
