    Meditation is nice, i did it for a shot while - the classic technique of counting the seconds as you breathe in and as you breathe out, then increasing the seconds to expand your breaths.

    i used to do about 18 seconds breathing in and 18 seconds breathing out, i found that a nice sustainable level.

    Generally the slower you breathe the more relaxed you are, the clearer you can think. I dont bother anymore though, Kung Fu, weights climbing (bouldering) and occasional interval sprint training are enough for me.
