i got drunk with him one night, years ago....
was at Betty's (a local pub in toronto with a mostly advertising/design/media/film clientelle) with a couple of friends that owned a local printing house....we were just chilling out having a few pints and noticed that Corey Haim was sitting at the table next to us...
he was obviously bored with the company he was keeping, and we noticed he was sort of eaves dropping on our conversation....so we just looked over and said come and join us if you're bored...and he did...and we proceeded to drink with him the rest of the night....I'm not sure what he was like on other occasions, but he was super nice to us, and we had a great time chilling out with him...he had some funny stories about other actors, but for the most part we all talked about design and advertising, and he actually seemed into it...and had lots of things to add to the conversation....was a pretty fun night all in all....
sorry to hear he passed....
