faster? no. faster is only how hard you pedal. i haven't researched, but i doubt the weight difference of these two bikes is different.
langster looks good. the mercer is a little classic looking as far as frame geometry and tube size. are they both steel?
if it was me, i'd take the langster.

- Faster is not how hard you pedal. Geometry, and gear ratio play a large role. Mercier has aggresive geometry = Faster if equal weight.jacklalane

- if u want the aggressiveness, flip the stem and raise the seatpost, which you can do with any road bike.********
