Got to ride my new setup this past weekend (Burton Joystick 159W, Cartels, and Hail boots) and all I can say is BEST THING I HAVE PURCHASED IN A LONG TIME.
My God, my riding ability went up 10x over in the first run alone. That board is so responsive and is a dream to ride. My previous board was a cheaper board I bought in 1997, so it was quite a step up. With the V-Rocker, it's so playful, and really hard to catch an edge.
Rode in the terrain park most of the day Saturday, and half the day Sunday after I skipped out on the bus back to Chicago and stayed at the mountain with some friends I met a couple weeks ago.
Terrain park was fun - hit some of the smaller/wider rails and this one launch type of rail that ended with a pretty nice drop off the end. I'm so ready to go back, hope there's at least one more Saturday left in March. It's getting a little warm up in Wisconsin.
