Last time I visited one friend he was listening to the Blade Runner soundtrack in his car. It wasn't particularly memorable for me but it seems it had some lasting impression on others. Honestly I don't think it was groundbreaking.

I know FLCL is a stretch but the soundtrack is pretty damn important to the visuals... all the pillows songs with some Van Halen sprinkled in...
