90% of military movies, work as advertising for the military.
Film crews often include military advisors that have to approve everything, from clothes to the actor's movements.So when you say "I'm sick of military moves making money off of our soldiers." you are not looking at the bigger picture.
From the Kid Rock song leading the movie at the theaters
to the high speed beauty shots of brave soldiers killing the bad guy synched to emotional/ empowering/ moving music.
You see.. inside the film there is tons of subliminal advertising...

Now I haven't seen the movie you talk about, but even if it portrays the military on a bad light, that's 1 movie out of a hundred.
The soldiers might not get a dime, but you can be sure the military gets thousands of new recruits every month just because of movies.
