I put tape over the tracking ball on the bottom of every mouse in the company before heading out on vacation. Surprisingly no one thought to look under their mouse for quite awhile...IT dept didn't think it was funny.
(note: tracking ball/prank = 1998ish)- sure it would work with optical mice as wellmonospaced
