Yup know what you mean...but its not just Americans who are the Kings and queens of conspicuous consumption, right here in the Middle East, the Arabs are finally realizing they can go to the mall, and spend their riches on useless rubbish. (They also all own over 2 cars. Usually a fuck off 4 Wheel Drive and a fast sports car) Advertising is rife over here, and a lot of the issues which are being addressed in the rest of the world like the use of public space for advertising etc, are being ignored.
