frankly i feel a little frustrated that there are so many neg. responses to this thread.
i guess i'm just surprised that the people that make a lot of consumerism attractive and possible (all of us here), aren't feeling any need to change the system.
I'm not saying that Adbbusters shouldn't change a couple things to better serve their purpose, but if you actually gave a damn, you'd go read some of their background and principles.
just don't be a f**king lazy ass citizen and just watch it drift by.
give a damn.so ok, logistically speaking, it's hard to go a day without purchasing something, BUT, AdBuster's is talking "consumerism" (ie: mickey D's, Clothes, Perfume, products with useless packaging, everything that hurts the earth in a huge way, etc...)
A bus ticket is not their meaning of consumerism. Resource hogs are.
