@BattleAxe: I was simply trying to point out that as a designer you care about accessibility, you might as well stop using flash now. I'm not suggesting we have to bow down to Apple but we must accept that, since the iPod, they dictate much of what the public will see in future internet techonologies.
To address what you've posted, you're right when you say mobile isn't the last step. But neither are TVs, or anything else for that matter. There is no last step. There never will be.
We need moveable data that can communicate with other moveable data and adapt itself, if we're going to manage what we've created. Flash's use of XML was a good start, but if Flash is pushed to the fringes of the internet, even just a little, it will be left behind.
