  Flash is used mostly for advertising. For long time people have been installing browser extensions to disable Flash ads. There's a lot of hatred towards it.

  Advertisers, they will create non-Flash content instantly, no need to worry about it.

  As much I consider html5 capabilities to be approaching what Flash could do in 1999, Flash, the better technology is going away.

  There is a hint of a chance with the Air apps, which will be supported on virtually all non-Apple tablets, time will tell quite soon.
