    How do measure fame? If we're talking about designers that are really "famous" we'd be throwing out names like Coco Chanel and other fashion design icons. There are a few books written about Paul Rand, not to mention countless references or his timeless style, but even then the average person doesn't know his name. If we're talking about who the best designer is it'd be a different story, but I don't think that even then anyone could possibly agree on a single individual.

    Conclusion: this is pointless.
