  If you wanna be vai or satriani, get an ibanez, but be warned they are super easy to play so if you learn on one, you will literally never be able to play anyone else's guitar.

  I have 2 ibanezes from when I was a teenager and used to shred. But not I pretty much exclusively play a battered old strat, which you really have to dig in to play. makes you a better player all round
