You can run your index.html file locally and swfaddress should work as planned. About a year ago I started using FlexBuilder (now FlashBuilder) and it's such a dream to work in. The editor is so much more advanced it makes the Flash IDE feel like a toy.

- investment. The only issue I have with FB is that it'll delete your imports if they aren't used, which is a nice feature but sometimesmathinc
- sometimes when you save and haven't yet applied references to that class it can be a pain. I'm sure I could turn it off though.mathinc
