what does being an east coaster have to do with disliking gangsta rap? was there no gangsta rap on the east coast? you realize the "east coast" encompasses everything along the eastern seaboard of the united states (including NY, NC, "hot"lanta, etc.), all places that have heavy roots to gangsta rap?
i'm an east coaster too, but none of this is relevant, just like the article you keep going back to.
i'm all for continuing this discussion, but only if you contribute information, not misinformation (re: the original article you posted).
