point taken pr2, but please read what i wrote more carefully before jumping on my back next time. regardless of whether or not there is any relevance in the originally posted link (and there is some), it's drowned out by the overwhelming amount of bigotry and misinformation that makes up the majority of the article--and that's where my beef is.
also keep in mind that new york is not 100% of the world's media. but then again: you live there, which makes it 100% of yours, which naturally means it must be 100% of everyone else's too, right?
do you see where i'm headed with this? it's a subject matter that requires attention, but the discussions deserve to be treated with the same respect and credibility that any other major political topic would demand. that means no wildly estimated statistics and no quotes intentionally out of context, especially from articles that are practically condemning an entire race.
