Foiled by Americans again. The Canadian (Jenn Heil) did fine and has won the top spot for years in a row, but played it a bit safe to secure a medal, whereas the American was a little more fancy. And some other women from both teams (and others) fell from going way too fast. I almost can't wait for 2014 because of the competition between Americans and Canadians again.
- I was watching this. Last girl had nothing to lose as far as US being on the podium so she gave it all she had...ismith
- I did feel bad for Heil though. I mean 1st place with one person left, kinda sucks.ismith
- She was 1st to qualify in 2006 so she got to go last. I heard it's actually more pressure to go last though.juhls
- This time, of course, she was second-to-last. It seems like speed is worth more than 25% of the mark, like they claimed.juhls
- ismith, nothing to lose, maybe, but the athletes still want to win the medal for themselves rather than a teammate getting one.juhls
