  You can see the battery 'health' in System Profiler. If you are still in warranty and it isn't performing as it should, hassle Apple about it. I once had a battery replaced by them (for free) even when I was just outside of warranty.

  • i had a battery health warning after upgrading to snow leopard and apple replaced it because it was near end of warranty but not actually unhealthy.Samush
