d-t-p : W/re to a fetus not being a baby, I suppose that you'll believe whatever allows you to sleep at night, regardless of the obvious truth.
Regarding babies not being cut or rent apart in the process of an abortion, you're either woefully misinformed or misrepresenting the truth. If it's the former and not the latter, check the University of Iowa's description of abortion techniques available online ( http://www.uihealthcare.com/dept… ). The diameter of the syringes and/or the powered aspirator needles used in apiration abortions are smaller than the size of the fetus.
Imagine yourself in a plane flying at a extremely high altitude. A six inch diameter hole is punched in the side of the plane and the pressure difference creates a powerful vacuum sucking the contents of the plane, including yourself through the hole. The arms, legs, head, etc. are coming off. The torso is exiting in pieces.
That's pretty much what happens to the fetus in vacuum aspiration / suction curretage. The abortionist examines the fetal fragments as they come through to make sure that it's been completely extracted. If you don't think that a fetus has an identifiable head and limbs by the 14th week, then you're a crackhead.
Pretty grisly stuff.
