It takes a lot of time for a blog to pick-up speed. Obviously this person was already established within his circles, he also has a kick-ass testimonial page. I think blogging is important, I know others who have blog pages linked to their folio and are very successful. I think you should just smack clients with your portfolio, unless like Jersey dog said, you have something good to blog about.
