I think these days, most people (I include myself) are clueless about what "Eco/ Green" means.
But because its trendy now, every single company out there is using it purely as a marketing gimmick, to keep selling product,
which ironically, consumption is the biggest enemy of this "going green/ eco" trend. We need to remember that green means:
you can paint something green, or use leaves/ plants motifs on its design, but that does not make it green, but the current situation shows us, that is enough to qualify it as "green".
- Replacing the things you currently use with things that last longer and use leas resources.joeth
- but by "replacing" I'm consuming new things...Meeklo
- Humans will never stop consuming. That's the reality. We can be more responsible about how much though.joeth
- I never said we have to stop consuming, but a huge part of being green is about reduce consumption, and re usingMeeklo
- not about buying more new thingsMeeklo
