  I've had an S-10 and a Ranger both with over 115K and they were unreliable, leaked like a sieve, blew smoke and were barley highly safe.
  Now I have a Nissan 720 4x4 that has 190k that is pretty much my daily driver and has never let me down ..... since my SAAB is always in the shop!
