Hey, I'm on the other side of the world, man.
Funny story... I was trying to hop onto the U-Bahn @Potsdammer Platz, and some lady asked for directions in German. She heard me mumble some English and (long story-short) turned out she lives in the same city as I (Sacramento, California)
