    Keep flat colours clean (ie. green C&Y not made up of CMY&K, just C&Y. (This will keep the colours bright and prevent muddiness). Avoid CMYK type below 12 point. Process colour pics with GCR separation (230% for newsprint or 260% for glossy news) and add a little more contrast. Process grayscale pics for 20% dot gain.

    Minimum image res 180 dpi but I always use at 300dpi
    Logos min 300 dpi. Lineart or similar at 600 dpi.

    For rich black C30 K100. Do not use 4Col K.

    Minimum type: 7 point
    Reverse type on single colour: 8 point
    Reverse type on full colour: 10 point
