I'm getting to old for a 3 day music fest anyway. Sleeping in a tent in a grass parking lot with 30,000 drunk hipsters has lost it's appeal.
Last time I went it was only a 1 day event (Pixes, Wilco, Kanye West, Modest Mouse, etc etc) so it was more tolerable, plus a bunch of us went in on a VIP reserved box with access to the cliff house bar so we didn't have to fight the beer lines.
It's getting really expensive too. Most of the bands that are playing will play Portland, Seattle or Bend before or after so you can pick and choose who you want to see in a closer smaller venue.
That being said I already have Pavement NYC tickets, those plus the flight and free room at a friends apt will probably be cheaper than going to Sasquatch for all three days.
