Have you thought about where in Norway you want to live? It´s a great country, but it´s crazy expensive here. The work situation is really good, and still getting better and better. The economic crisis didn´t hit us as hard as it hit the world. I have no idea if it´s hard to get citizenship/work permits. As long as you´re here to work, I think you´ll be fine!
If you´re fluent in English and French, I think you´ll learn Norwegian pretty fast.
If Norway is tempting, I think you should try it. But save up a lot of money before you order plane tickets.. hehe. I think Oslo came in at third or fourth in a "most expensive cities in the world"-list..
