well put, ukit... I was thinking the same thing as I read through that article...
... I've been thinking - Obama does have by far the most difficult presidency to date - he was handed a pretty disoriented / angry nation...
... that being said - like ukit mentioned... the guy is going to be damned by one side regardless of what he does.
This country has been pretty evenly divided for the last 10 years... making it difficult for anything useful to get accomplished. I blame both sides - in tune w/Herbert's column too... make one side happy... the other throws a fit.
