Are helmets entirely necessary?
In the past I've never bothered with one. I've always had the opinion that no-helmet, means I'm more attentive..
I guess I'm being stupid?

- very true .. I also hate drivers who don't give space to cyclists though.. in UK we have special areas at traffic lights for bikes ..********
- quite often, cars take up this designated space which is v. annoying.********
- LA has lanes for bikes too they are somewhat respected then all of a sudden that will end thoughversion3
