Its quite obvious really Horp. Its continued scare mongering to frighten the people into accepting the new anti terrorist laws that infringe on our freedom. We are basically already in a police state and the whole terrorist thing is their excuse for bringing this in.
Its called problem, reaction, solution.
Create a problem... get a reaction from the people... and then bring in a solution which was what you wanted to do before the problem even existed.
If there was no apparent threat to their safety the people would never so willingly allow our freedoms to be taken away.
They can pretty much do anything they want now under section 44 of the terrorism act.
