Ah, shit. Don’t you just hate it when go upstairs to put some fruit toast in the toaster, come back downstairs, start posting on QBN and forget about your fruit toast, only to find when you go back up that it has long since popped and is now dry and cold? And when you do finally resolve the riddle as whether you toast it for a bit longer to re-heat, and risk burning, or throw it in the bin and start again, knowing that that is two more bits you won’t be eating again, you realise you are too lazy to get a clean plate out of the cupboard, and all that is at hand is one of the kids’ Shrek plates with breakfast detritus still on it? I know I do.
