  Sony MDR-V150 roughly $20

  i've owned 3 pair in my life.
  wore one for years finally broke literally crumbled off my head one day, surprised they lasted that long, i was abusive.
  gave my next pair to my gf before she left america.
  wearing the 3rd pair.
