interesting comments thus far,
I think that if someone wants to experiment in image-making, discover new processes, have fun - who the hell are we to tell them it sucks? I think some of this stuff is beautiful and some of it falls a bit short, visually speaking, but I enjoy the holistic view he gives us on the basis that not everything works and its usually from misses that we can get a better view of what works.
Im sure he didnt ask to have this thrown up on the EC either, can you imagine if you all had your sketchbooks scanned and made into a webpage - and then that webpage made its way into the EC so people could just you based on your own doodlings/experiments?
It's also strange that for a forum that has a lot of designers wanting to be/idolizing the designer/artists, there doesn't seem to be a lot of leeway for non-client related experimentation or work that lives outside the space of what a "designer should do"
