If a designer chooses to share their processes and experiments, one would assume they're doing so in the spirit of discourse and / or education.
If the viewer is going to gain any benefit from the experience, at least some explanation is required. We don't live in Michael Cina's head .. so it's difficult to understand what he's trying to achieve.
I wouldn't imagine a designer would show their experiments and wish for empty praise.
Take away 'Michael Cina' and does the work have the same appeal?
To the people who are slavishly defending the work; I'd be really interested in learning why you feel it's good. What do you like about it?
