^ That has got to be one of the most ridiculous "articles" I've read in a long time. Not one shred of fact or a scintilla of evidence to support an opinion piece. Might as well be a blog...or a post on QBN for that matter.
And it's written by Ed Lucas who "is known at the paper, as even he would admit, as a bit of a loon" according to an anonymous Economist correspondent. (See "Edward Lucas' Cold War Shuffle - http://web.archive.org/web/20080…)
