So, after 3+ years, my Bose Quiet Comfort 3's have broken(snapped where the arch meets the earpiece, YaY!). I'm thinking of going the in-ear route this time as I find the over ear route get's painful after a few hours of use. Don't think I'll ever buy Bose again.
I'm looking to spend $200-$350 and have done research on the following:
Sennheiser IE7's:
Shure(SE 420's):
Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5pro:
M-Audio IE-40 (very similar to the UE's):
I was just wondering if anyone has used any of the above and what their personal experience has been? I'm sure most of these are of similar quality and I'll be using them to DJ/mix and while at work, hence the sound isolation.
