The Democrats seem smart to me. It's strategically best to let the opposition define all the bad mistakes...like racist remarks, war-mongering, environmental irresponsibility, tax breaks for the rich and so forth. Let them have their run. This administration and the republican antiques will be obsolete, eventually. Either through more citizens getting sick and tired of the antics and voting for change, or citizens rising up, similar to how citizens in third world countries do. Political apathy will soon be dead, there might well be another 60's type era coming back into vogue, where civil unrest for change becomes more and more pronounced. Bush Jr. is by far worse than the Gipper (Reagan) or his dad, so it'll be interesting what changes in the next two years. If nothing does, I always wondered what it would be like to live in the U.K. Is Tony Blair cool?(aside from apartment purchases)
