Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me. My advisor just sent me an email that said she was unable to think of anything to write for the schools I was applying to and therefore did not submit anything. Oh, and that a recommendation was attached that I could "do with it whatever I want". The deadline was two weeks ago.
And there's a 95% chance I've got mono, which would explain the headaches, awful fucking enflamed throat, narcolepsy, etc. Fucking fuck why is this happening to me and why now? It hurts too much to talk and I'm taking about a gram of ibuprofen every two hours to kill this headache.
Plan of action: email the Harvard and Columbia admissions staff, explain my situation, and ask if there is ANY way in hell I can still be considered since it just cost me $150 and frankly I'm awestruck at how it's falling apart. I'm not panicked but I sure as fuck am pissed off.
