I find it humorous that the two groups who created fantasies about who Obama was - you crazed rightwing douchebags and the leftover starry-eyed hippes - are now in a shouting match.
Meanwhile the rest of the electorate just shrugs and says "Oh, so he's just another politician like we probably figured. Still speaks nice.."
The only two groups who built huge edifices to the guy before he took office were the rightwing crazies - you know all you guys who seem to be fapping madly about "A-HA!!! HE IS A SECRET MUSLIM COMMIE JUST LIK EWE SAID BECAUSE HE'S..he's...well..he's basically doing all of Bush's policies..er...um...BUT HE'S BLACK!! AND PROBABLY A SECRET MUSLIM JEW HITLER BANKER!! AHAA...WE TOLD YOU!!!" and the left over hippies "OH MY GOD HE'S LIK EJFK AND GHANDI AND HE'LL SAVE US ALL!!! SWOON!"
To watch these two dregs of the politcal pond go through fits of despair and elation about this guy is really fucking funny.
Do go on.
- Meanwhile Obama = Bush 2.0, so all you tards who defended Bush yet call Obama a socialist are reality challenged.********
- Obama = Bush 2.0? Are you serious?Mimio
- In most real terms, sadly, yes.********
- He's continued the fiscal policies, he's continued the Iraq and Afghan policies..********
- His health care plan is more like Bush's Drug Benefit giveaway to the pharmacutical lobby than it has to do with real reform.********
- reform.********
- I mean, I like the guy. He's better than Bush, but in the light of history he won't be seen as an historic break with his predecessors policies.********
- predecessor.********
- yes... but he has managed to rename the two war fronts as 'over-seas contingency plans' which makes us allll feel betterPonyBoy
- As compared to "GWOT"? Well, yes. An overall improvement.Dr_Sparkleshine
