  Plasmas normally die after about 2 years. that is why prices are dropping and have been dropping. If you play video games or watch stock market channels do not get a plasma. They burn images to your screen. I am sure someone already said this but...If it is going to be an office TV or spare TV then I would say do it. But do not buy a plasma for your main television.
