    depends where you put it and what you watch on it mostly.

    LCD is good for bright rooms
    Plasma is good for dark rooms

    Plasma is better to watch sports with and probably V-games.
    LCd is good for images with bright whites. but it doens't produce blacks as well.

    Plasma use more energy and generates more heat.

    Prices are comparable.

    Better Plasmas have ways of minimizing/eliminating the risk of burn.

    I think plasmas weigh more because they use glass instead of some shitty plastic screen (at least that's true for panasonic).
