I find these terms incredibly confusing. I don't know how one could be a good interactive designer (or visual designer for interactive or whatever you want to call it) without being being able to hold their own with interaction design/IA/UX skills. I'm contracting for Microsoft right now as an interactive art director but so much of what I produce before visual design involves working out interaction and layout, etc.
