    This is why it's mystifying to me why anyone would vote for more radical right-wing economics at this point...it's proven not to work.

    After Roosevelt instituted the minimum wage, Social Security and other workers rights, we had three decades of prosperity which basically invented the middle class. After Reagan and Bush, the deficit ballooned and wage gains for the average person were nonexistent. And you want more of that?
