To commemorate the event Hebden will be giving away an exclusive mix CD of tracks he’s played over his time at the club to everyone who comes in. According to a picture on his website it appears the mix will be appropriately titled Much Love to the Plastic People.
Hebden claims that his time at the club was a major influence on his latest album, There Is Love in You, and that much of the material from the new disc was tested out first at Plastic Peoples. That CD will see release on 26th January 2010 via Domino.
